Welcome to our 60-minute Homeless De-Escalation 201 Workshop. This workshop was originally presented in January 2023 as part of our ongoing monthly trainings.
This workshop supplements Homeless De-Escalation 201: Nonverbal Tools to Eliminate Conflict. In this Homeless De-Escalation 201 Workshop, we focus on tools taught in Homeless De-Escalation 201 through:
- Analyzing videos
- Role-play exercises (you’ll definitely need a co-worker for this!)
- Q&A
Upon completion of the workshop, your certificate will be available to save or print.
At the Homeless Training Institute, our mission is to train library staff members on how to compassionately and confidently manage problematic behavior from individuals struggling with homelessness, addiction, mental illness, etc.
