Welcome to our 1-hour training on Jerks with Homes: How to Deal with Members of the Public Who are Being Jerks About Homeless Folks. This webinar was originally presented in July 2020 as part of our ongoing monthly trainings.
This training supplements our Homeless De-Escalation Core Training. In this Jerks with Homes: How to Deal with Members of the Public Who are Being Jerks About Homeless Folks training we will discuss:
- What the research shows about empathy, dehumanization, and outgroup contact
- Tools for preventing problems
- Tools for resolving problems
Upon completion of the training, your certificate will be available to save or print.
