Accessibility Toolkit: Practical Steps for Library Websites

Depending on community size, your website must be accessible by April 2026 (50,000 or more persons) or April 2027 (less than 50,000 persons or those in a special district).

Accessibility doesn’t have to be overwhelming. We will highlight common barriers and show how to address them with practical, achievable steps.

Attendees will learn tools for testing accessibility, simple adjustments that make a big impact, and strategies for building accessibility into workflows. You’ll leave with a practical checklist and actionable steps to make your website more welcoming and usable for all.
