If you look up the definition of confidence, you’ll see something along the lines of “self-assurance” or
a mention of appreciating our own abilities and qualities. It seems that should be a given in
the library world, considering we are surrounded by knowledge, but maybe that is WHY our confidence muscle can atrophy!
One somewhat-negative interaction with a patron can leave our confidence muscle bruised and worse for wear. Let’s talk about how we can get that muscle back to full strength.
